Alfred Franci, age 67, of Campbell, died at home on August 18, 2008. He was a Tech Writer for many Silicon Valley companies, including Oracle Corp where he worked at the time of his death. He graduated from Fairfield Prep in Fairfield, CT, attended MIT and graduated from Fairfield Univ. Alfred was a Captain and pilot in the US Air Force and spent 1968 in Vietnam before leaving the service as a conscientious objector with an honorable discharge. Alfred is survived by his wife Mary Kate Rourke Franci, his sister, Donna Ladasky of El Dorado, CA, three daughters, Sarah Franci of San Jose, Kim Bradley of Fremont, and Meg Belichick, of Santa Cruz, and a son, Joseph Belichick of Sunnyvale, CA. A Funeral Mass and Vigil will be celebrated at St. Lucy Church, Winchester Blvd., Campbell, CA, on Sat., Aug. 23. Vigil and Rosary are at 11:30 AM, followed by Mass at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Cancer Fund of America or KKUP. Alfred will be long remembered for his wit, wisdom and zest for life. He will be missed by all who knew him.
