Frances C. (Franko) Kobziak, age 67 of Mesa, Ariz.,
passed away Tuesday,
October 28, 2008 at the Hospice of the Valley, after a year long battle
with cancer. Fran was born in Bridgeport, February 23, 1941 and after
graduating from Warren Harding High School in 1958, she married
Theodore Kobziak in Bridgeport, May 1960. She was a Navy wife with
residences in Argentia Newfoundland, Kingsville Texas, and Warwick R.I.,
living in Warwick from 1966 to 1999. She is survived by her husband of
48 years, Navy Retired Senior Chief Petty Officer Theodore Kobziak;
sons, David (Lenora) Kobziak of Waxhaw, N.C. and Edward Kobziak of
Gilbert, Ariz.; grandchildren, Haylee, Ryan, children of David and
Edward, Evan, children of Edward. Private services were held at
Queen of Heaven Mortuary in Mesa, AZ November 3, 2008 with interment at
the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ.
