March 17, 2008  Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!  Being as I'm the grandson of Irish Immigrants, this week's update will be very short, as I'm on my way to do a bit of responsible "Pub Crawling" around the various Irish pubs of Raleigh. 

Looking for somewhere in the Bridgeport area to celebrate St. Patrick's Day? Member Patrick Speer sent us the following schedule for his Irish band, "Once Removed":  Monday, March 17:  The "Gaelic American Club", Beach Road, Fairfield, from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m.; and later at "Ray Kelly's Pub" on Fairfield Avenue in Black Rock, starting at 8:30 p.m. at the LATEST; possibly an earlier start. Tell him Jim Sullivan sent ya.
